ASHLAND, Ohio – The Ashland University Jazz Orchestra (AUJO) will host a Jazzathon on Wednesday, April 20, to raise funds for past and future trips that the ensemble takes. The group annually travels, including recent trips to the Notre Dame and Tiffin University Jazz Festivals, and also welcomes major guest jazz artists to the Ashland community.

ASHLAND, Ohio – The 41st annual Maplerock Jazz Festival, an educational and entertaining event that features the Ashland University Jazz Orchestra mixing with internationally-recognized jazz luminaries as well as regional scholastic groups, will take place this Friday, March 18, on the campus of Ashland University. ASHLAND, Ohio – Four jazz ensembles, headlined by the Ashland University Jazz Orchestra (AUJO), will be performing on Sunday, Dec. 5, inside Hugo Young Theatre. The event, which is free and open to the public, starts at 2:30 p.m.

Iron Toys to perform recital Sunday night, Nov. 7

ASHLAND, Ohio – The Ashland University Department of Music presents a guest artist recital by Iron Toys on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m., in the Elizabeth Pastor Recital Hall inside the Center for the Arts. The event is free and open to the public. Face masks are required for all audience members.

ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University’s Eagle Marching Band will present “Sounds of the Stadium” this coming Sunday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m., inside Kates Gymnasium. The concert is free and open to the public.
