I am from Akron, Ohio. I am double majoring in English and Integrated Language Arts with a minor in Creative Writing. My goal is to first be a high school English teacher, preferably in an inner city. I want to show students that they can find an outlet in English. I want my students to feel like they have a place that they can come to express themselves with no judgment. After teaching high school, I’d love to eventually go back to school for my masters and doctorate so that I can teach at a college level one day.
