Before seeking the assistance of a tutor from Ashland University Tutoring Programs office, please be aware of the following items:
Meet with your professor concerning the specific learning issues
Tutoring is not designed to replace regular class attendance in online/hybrid classes
Once you have made the commitment to meet with a tutor, please be aware of the below preparation guidelines:
Please be on time. If you're going to be late, inform your tutor one hour before the session. Two absences will result in a cancellation of your sessions.
Try to complete the assignment or task before each session. This will generate some specific questions that the peer tutor can focus on.
The tutor will not do the work for you. Completion of the assignment is your responsibility.
