Assistant Professor, Management
Ashland University's Dauch College of Business and Economics seeks to fill one tenure/tenure-track position, rank open, available in August 2017, to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Management, including one or more fields such as Policy and Strategy, International Business, Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Management.
The Department of Management is one of 4 departments within the Dauch College of Business and Economics. Including the department chair, there are 8 faculty members in the department. The department includes majors in Business Administration, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, International Business and Supply Chain Management, and currently has more than 100 undergraduate majors and 70 minors. MBA specializations in numerous areas are also offered. The online MBA program is 111th in the latest U.S. News and World Report's rankings.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Excellence in teaching is required. The candidate also is expected to conduct scholarly activities in their area of concentration and to participate in service activities to the university, community and profession.
Candidates must hold an earned doctorate from an AACSB accredited institution in an appropriate field. Previous teaching experience, including demonstrated ability to teach effectively in a technology-facilitated environment as well as in a traditional classroom setting is a requirement. Industry experience and ability to teach other courses in the College is desirable.
