Assistant Professor of Psychology (Non-Tenure Track) - College of Arts and Sciences
The Department of Psychology at Ashland University (www.ashland.edu) invites applications for Assistant Professor of Psychology (area of specialty open), with preference given to candidates with a PhD in Psychology (ABD considered). This is a non-tenure track position with the opportunity for renewable contracts. This position reports directly to the Department Chair.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to undergraduate education, an active research agenda that can incorporate undergraduate research assistants, and be expected to contribute to the life of the University. Responsibilities include teaching of undergraduate courses General Psychology and other courses as needed.
PhD in Psychology is required (ABD considered). Evidence of excellence in teaching and active scholarship is required.
