Doctoral Nursing Faculty - Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences
The Ashland University Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences is currently accepting applications for a full-time, doctorally prepared faculty member. Faculty have the opportunity to provide instruction in classroom, clinical and laboratory settings in both undergraduate and graduate programs. The Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences academic building located in Mansfield, Ohio, has an award winning, state-of-the-art simulation center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the mission of Ashland University and the College.
- Support Ashland University's philosophy of Accent on the Individual.
- Perform instructional duties as outlined in the Ashland University Faculty Senate Rules and Regulations.
- Maintain exemplary academic standards and consistently pursue active development as a teacher and academician
Nursing doctorate required, preference given for family nurse practitioner or other advanced practice specialization. Eligibility for RN licensure in the State of Ohio is required. Applicants must possess evidence of a program of scholarship or clinical skills in an area of nursing specialization and a commitment to the dual role of teacher and scholar.
