Professional Instructor of Biology - College of Arts and Sciences
The Department of Biology and Toxicology at Ashland University (www.ashland.edu) seeks applications for a Professional Instructor of Biology (Non-Tenure Track) position beginning August 2021. This position reports directly to the Department Chair of Biology and Toxicology.
Primary responsibilities are teaching courses in Anatomy and Physiology (human cadaver based) for nursing students. Candidates without experience teaching A&P will not be considered. Additional courses may include Cell Biology, General Biology, Entomology, or other animal biology courses depending on the candidate's areas of expertise. Department and University service are expected. There will also be opportunities to engage in research mentoring undergraduate students.
A Master's degree in an area of Biology is required. Candidate should have experience in teaching undergraduate students.
