Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor, Department of Communication Studies
The Department of Communication Studies at Ashland University (www.ashland.edu) seeks to fill a one (1) year visiting position in Sport Communication. We seek a broadly educated person to teach Foundations of Sport Communication, Gender and Race in Sports, Sport Public Relations, Informatics in Sport Communication and Human Communication. The department has 113 undergraduate students and a M.A. in Corporate and Strategic Communication. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching in a traditional liberal arts setting. Ashland University is a private, non-profit university in Ashland, Ohio, and serves over 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of disciplines.
A Master's degree in Communication with a focus on Sport Communication and teaching experience required; PhD or ABD preferred.
