Description of work to be done:

Perform services requested for the cleaning and up keeping of buildings at Ashland University which consist of: living facilities, dining area, laundry areas, restrooms, classrooms and/or offices.

Ensuring the outer perimeter of every building is clean and litter free is also required.

Clean and maintain living facilities, dining areas, restrooms, classrooms and/or offices (i.e. empty trash, replenish paper towels and toilet paper, dust, sweep, mop, etc) stairways, landings, and floors.

Adjunct Instructors for College of Arts and Sciences

 

Ashland University's College of Arts and Sciences seeks adjunct instructors for future semesters.  The College serves 2,200 undergraduates with core curriculum and courses in the disciplines.  Master's degree required; Ph.D./terminal degree, teaching experience preferred. 

 

Employment Verification

Requests for employment verification in writing or by telephone should be directed to the Human Resources Records department. Most requests will be processed within 24-48 hours. The university only maintains records for the past seven years for employees who are no longer actively employed. The following information will be provided:

  • Dates of employment
  • Job title

Workers' Compensation

All employees are covered under workers’ compensation insurance, which provides for benefits in case of certain on-the-job injuries.

Each person is required to report any occupational accident or illness to the appropriate supervisor immediately. Record of Occupational Injury and Illness forms, which are used to report any occurrence of an on-the-job accident, are available in the Human Resources Office.
