The Honors Society is a student-run organization that plans a variety of social, educational and service events for Honors Program students, thereby strengthening the learning community by building friendships outside the classroom.

The academic year is kicked off with the annual retreat. Previous Honors Society events held during the academic year include game nights, Pizza with the Profs, a trip to the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame, going to Columbus to see Phanton of the Opera, wallyball at the Rec Center, a Euchre tournament and an annual Ugly Sweater/White Elephant Holiday Party. Recent Society service projects include Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, Stock the Sleigh for Christmas, participating in Relay for Life and collecting supplies for the Ashland Rape Crisis Domestic Violence Safe Haven.
