What happens when an entire theatre production is condensed into 24 hours? Find out during this premiere performance of a play that will be auditioned, written, memorized, designed and performed at the end of a 24-hour time period. Free and Open to the Public. To guarantee your seat, reserve a free ticket at the Box Office: 419.289.5125, 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Numerous Ashland University students will be participating in this project which will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. Within the next 24 hours, these students will write, audition, memorize, design and rehearse a play which will be publicly performed at 7:30 p.m. the following day.

Founded by 2018 alumna Megan Harvey (Medina), the reins have been transferred to another APO senior member, Ivey Jean Buffenmyer (Ashland), who will serve as the producer and leader of the writing team to manage her team leaders including: Eric Breeden (Medina), assistant producer; Alejandro Ridolfi (Middleburg Hts.), directing; Nik Demers (Shelby), stage management; Drew Berlin (Barberton), lighting design; AnnMarie Hill (Mansfield), costume design; Maya Rickard (Wooster), scenic design; Tristan Peterman (Canton), set construction; Ethan Tingler (Roseville), music composition and sound design; Rachel Lowery (Elyria), properties and hospitality.

The excitement of this project is the anticipation of not knowing what will be performed for the audience, since everything will be created in a condensed amount of time. A normal production includes five to six weeks of rehearsal, this group will be preparing in a single day.
