Ashland University's Winter 2019 Commencement will be held Dec. 14, 2019, at 10 a.m. in Kates Gymnasium, which is located inside the Physical Education Center. The ceremony will be for both undergraduate and graduate students and the procession will begin at approximately 9:55 a.m. No tickets will be required for this event.
Graduating students and faculty who are participating in the ceremony are to assemble at 9:15 a.m. at the west end of Conard Field House, which is located just west of the Physical Education Center. Handicapped parking for those attending the ceremony will be located in Parking Lot A, which is off King Road.
The commencement ceremony will be live streamed at www.ashland.edu/commencement and additional seating will be available in the Student Center Eagles' Nest and the Student Center Auditorium, where the ceremony will be broadcast live at each venue. A luncheon will be held in Myers Convocation Center following the ceremonies and those attending can order tickets on this website or buy tickets at the door.
Brandon Chrostowski to Speak at AU’s Winter Commencement
Brandon Edwin Chrostowski, founder, president and CEO of EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute in Cleveland, will be the speaker at Ashland University’s winter commencement.
EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute gives formerly incarcerated adults a foundation in the culinary and hospitality industry while providing a support network necessary for their long-term success. Its mission is three-fold: to teach a skilled and in-demand trade in the culinary arts, empower willing minds through passion for hospitality management and prepare students for a successful transition home.
