Kelsey Myers

Creative Writing, English

Kelsey Myers comes from Youngstown, OH and is a double major in English and Creative Writing with a minor in Religion.  She is currently working on a creative nonfiction piece about clinical depression and anime conventions that she plans to expand into a series of essays.  She is also writing the screenplay of a dark comedy called “Lucky Thirteen” that ruthlessly and unapologetically mocks the hipster musical trend that the more obscure and unknown the band, the cooler the audience is for listening to it.  The screenplay follows the lives of two people obsessed with proving that they are better than everyone else—so obsessed that they will push aside anyone who gets in their way, even the people they love.
