Bio

Allison Gibson is a new adjunct faculty member with Ashland University, and she is teaching two classes for the department this fall. Prior to coming to Ashland she worked for the Alzheimer’s Association. Currently, she also works with the Community and Youth Collaborative Institute at the Ohio State University’s College of Social Work. Allison specializes in research and practice with older adults with memory impairment, as well as family caregiving and emergency services for aging populations. On a personal note, Allison enjoys traveling, hiking and volunteering with social service organizations such as the American Red Cross.
