Douglas A. Dawson, a professor of biology and toxicology, has been at Ashland University since 1993. He holds a B.A. in biology from Transylvania University, as well as an M.S. and Ph.D. in zoology from Oklahoma State University. He currently teaches courses in anatomy and physiology, advanced human physiology, pharmacology and toxicology, and also conducts research in toxicology.

Dr. Drinkard earned her Ph.D in Sociology in 2012 from Kent State University.  She has taught Criminology and Sociology courses since 2003. Prior to becoming a professor, Dr. Drinkard worked for 10 years at a research institute, evaluating social service programs for juvenile delinquents. Her research interests include adolescent development, prosocial behavior, and juvenile delinquency.
