Biography

  • In her 11th year as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences where she oversees undergraduate and graduate programs in the fine and performing arts, humanities, social sciences and STEM fields
  • Also housed within the college are the Center for Addictions, Center for Community Research and Evaluation Services, Center for International Collaborative Research, Center for Nonviolence, the Coburn Gallery, the Core Curriculum, five environmental preserves, the Hugo Young Theatre, AUTV 20, WRDL, the Ashland Poetry Press, and the Writing Center 
  • Prior to joining AU, served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Marymount Manhattan College (2002-2008) and Associate Dean of the College of Fine and Performing Arts at Central Michigan University (1997-2002)
