Paulina Trunzo joined Ashland University as the Administrative Assistant to the departments of Foreign Language, Philosophy, and Religion in November 2012. She also assists Ashland’s thriving theatre department. Paulina earned her B.F.A., cum laude, in musical theatre from Pace University in New York City. She has performed in over 30 regional, college, and local productions as well as two independent movies, a national commercial and worked for Bravo’s Inside the Actor’s Studio. Paulina recently wrote a new musical entitled "CHASING" that debuted earlier this year and will soon have its original album recorded. She has worked with Ohio Idol as a main judge, choreographer, and performance coach. Before starting her sophomore year at Pace University, Paulina studied at Ashland University with a concentration in musical theatre, as well as the Beck Center for the Arts in Cleveland. Paulina often collaborates as a singer/songwriter with Mike Petee, a former member of the 1980’s band, Silverhorse. In her administrative experience, she has worked as an Administrative Professional for The Capstone Partnership, an executive search firm in midtown Manhattan, an Office Assistant for a talent agency in Times Square and a Personal Assistant to the C.E.O of a non-profit organization.
