Terry Foss, adjunct instructor of journalism and digital media, joined the Ashland University faculty in 2015 teaching JDM 133 Video/Audio Aesthetics and, in 2016, JDM 103 Introduction to Journalism/Mass Communication. She previously taught as a Limited Term Lecturer for nine years in the Communication Department at Indiana University/Purdue University, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She holds a B.A. in Radio and Television with a minor in Spanish from Indiana University, Bloomington, and an M.A. in Professional Communication from Purdue University. Her professional experience includes Director of Development for a nonprofit organization as well as various professional positions in radio, newspaper, and television including freelance journalist, radio announcer and DJ, radio copy writing and production, radio and television program host. She has also held the position of public relations director for a four-station Christian radio network in Fort Wayne and public relations director for the Kansas City-based Bott Christian Radio Network’s Fort Wayne radio station. She has won several national radio awards for writing and production, website design, and outstanding community service.
