Available Minors

Ashland University’s Foreign Language Department offers four minors:

  • Minor in French

  • Minor in Spanish

  • Minor in Spanish for PK-8 Majors: A minor in Spanish plus a field experience in the AU Costa Rica program

  • Minor in Global Studies: Combines language study, intercultural communication, border crossing courses and a study abroad experience

The Spanish and French Minors are only nine credit hours after you complete the elementary and intermediate level language study. You can also take two 300 level electives and the Grammar and Composition Course.
