Multidisciplinary Studies Major Example

This example demonstrates:

  • Institutional Baccalaureate degree requirements
  • Two cognate areas consisting of 24 hours minimum. Of those 24 hours. at least 9 credit hours of courses are at the 300/400 level.
  • Inclusion of MDS 490: Multidisciplinary Studies Capstone Experience
  • That the multidisciplinary major is a comprehensive major, requiring at least 60 hours.
  • The possibility of elective hours needed to reach the required 120 hours for graduation.
