Organizational Training and Development Online Degree

This degree will give you the credential to move your career from “doing” to “teaching.” The program offers a great opportunity to study with your peers – adults with substantial work experience. Not only do you learn from the professor and curriculum, but also from the students’ real-world perspectives. And you can learn online from wherever you need to be and when it’s convenient for you.

  • You may be able to receive credit for life and work experience through PLA Portfolio. You may also be able to receive transfer credit for previous college courses.

Bachelor of Science in Organizational Training and Development Curriculum

This degree program emphasizes the application of adult learning theory to the design, implementation and assessment of adult training programs across a diverse set of organizations.

The curriculum focuses on:

  • Methods, presentation techniques and digital resources to develop and facilitate adult learning experiences.
  • Assessment strategies for workforce development programs in various fields and contexts.
  • Exploring a variety of philosophical backgrounds to understand common ethical teaching in multicultural settings

This degree has a total of 120 credit hours, with requirements in three categories: core curriculum, major and minor.
