Course Description:

Introduction to Latin American Art: Integrating Art & Architecture into the Spanish Curriculum

Art can be a great resource for Spanish teachers. By looking at the historical context of the art and architecture, dating from prehistoric times to modern architecture, students will be able to understand the influence it has on the Latin American culture.  In this course we will explore a various time periods, so you better understand the art & architecture of a historical era.  Within each module, participants will study the online content, complete activities and share teaching strategies for integrating Latin American art into their own classes. The course offers a collaborative environment to share tips, unique lessons and best practices for teaching art and history. Conducted in Spanish.
