Anchored by four learning segments, HQT Science is designed to help participants build content knowledge of Ohio’s Learning Standards for science as they navigate through a collection of materials that are based on these standards. Areas of focus in the course include inquiry and application, earth and space science, life science, and physical science. Participants will gain content knowledge and science pedagogical content knowledge through viewing videos, visiting websites, reading online articles, participating in discussion forums by posting responses and replies, and completing response journals or taking quizzes aimed at assessing some topic related to the learning segment.
