Are you dreaming of classrooms full of intrinsically motivated students? Are you seeking ways to make lessons more relatable?  In this course, we will compare characteristics of authentically engaged and compliant learners, incorporating the use of technology to engage and motivate them.  We will demonstrate how control, challenge, choice, collaboration, and constructing meaning impact learning while sparking curiosity in all content areas with reading strategies, arts integration, and the maker movement.  The overall goal is to highlight specific teaching behaviors that will immediately increase student motivation.

Participants will be asked to complete assignments, reflections, and share evidence of implementation via sample lesson plans.  There are 6 modules.  Each module has 2-3 lessons.  

The Social Emotional Learning course will allow participants to:  compare characteristics of authentically
