The COBE Cafe Opening March 28!

Spring of 2015 was a busy time for the Eagle Entrepreneurs student organization. Vice President Alex McHugh developed an idea for a Schar style cafe in the College of Business and Economics. With this idea in hand, the students created a business plan that was shown to faculty throughout the university. Auxiliary Services decided that a café in Dauch was a great idea and agreed to work with Eagle Entrepreneurs to make this project happen. Throughout the past year, Eagle Entrepreneurs have been working with Auxiliary Services to create the COBE Café. Plans have been made with the hopes of starting construction as soon as possible. The café will be student run and will offer Grab and Go types of products. The hours will be Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with possibility of more hours.  All the members of Eagle Entrepreneurs are very excited about this project, President of Eagle Entrepreneurs, David Shaffer says “We are excited to see this plan come to fruition in the next couple of months, and hope that students all across campus can enjoy the COBE Café once it’s finished. Their (Matt Portner and Fred Geib of Auxiliary Services) patience and detail orientation has helped the Eagle Entrepreneurs club to get firsthand experience in starting a business; experience that is incredibly rare for college students to have. We are thankful for their help and credit the AU community on keeping strong relations between students and staff.”
