Dr. Kristofer Neslund, associate professor of accounting, joined Ashland University in 2011. He holds the degrees of B.S. in business administration from Bowling Green State University, Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark College, Master of Laws in taxation from New York University and Doctor of Business Administration from Kent State University. He is an Ohio CPA and a member of the Oregon State Bar. Dr. Neslund has numerous publications and presentations addressing issues related to taxation and the accounting profession. He has held visiting professorships in law and accounting in Germany, New Zealand and Australia. Dr. Neslund's work experience includes being the CFO of a multistate telecommunications company and a partner in a law firm emphasizing taxation and entrepreneurial advisement.
