Welcome to Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurs face an array of challenges while launching successful ventures. Our program provides students with the skills to meet these challenges. You’ll learn how to recognize opportunity in the marketplace, how to create a successful business plan and key in on the collaboration skills needed to attract investors.

Your journey to success begins with a solid foundation in business fundamentals (Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management and Economics). This foundation is used to reinforce the key aspects of our Entrepreneurship majors.

  • Our curriculum begins by introducing student to the basic concepts of entrepreneurship.
  • This introduction is followed by an in-depth study of entrepreneurial tactics and strategies.
  • Key learnings include New Venture Creation and Venture Capital Financing.
  • Since many entrepreneurial start-ups are family owned, students spend considerable time learning about the issues and challenges associated with family business.
The study of Entrepreneurship is not limited to students wishing to major in the field. An Entrepreneurship minor is an excellent complement to any major. Business and non-business students across disciplines have found the experience beneficial to their chosen field of study!
