Seeking Faculty Instructors and Speakers for Summer, 2022
ESSEX School for the Gifted and Talented
at Ashland University
June 19-24, 2022
This is a weeklong virtual summer program for gifted high school students who will learn from experts in a variety of disciplines in small group settings.
Are you interested in teaching for Essex@Ashland?
We are looking for:
- Forum speakers for two-hour small group morning sessions
- Intensive faculty for daily 3.5 hour intensive course facilitation
Monday-Friday afternoons. All disciplines welcome!

Previous years' plenaries:
Each morning, students attend a plenary session chosen from a wide variety of offerings. These sessions are a quick dip into topics of interest with a content expert and are dfferent every day.
- Environmental Science at Home

- The Joy and Wonder of Pure Mathematics
- En-ROADS Climate Workshop
Previously offered Intensives:
The afternoons are devoted to daily, in-depth small-group instruction in a topic of passion by an expert in the field. This mentorship will be carried throughout each afternoon during the week.
