Dr. Wood-Morton, Professor, has been with Ashland University for 20 years.  She began as Director of Undergraduate Education in the Elyria Center. In 2000, she moved to a full-time faculty position. Her primary responsibility is teaching literacy courses at the Elyria Center. Dr. Morton has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Georgetown College with a major in Elementary Education. She also has Master of Science degree is from Ohio State University with a major in Child Development. Her Ph.D. is from Miami University, Ohio, with a major in Curriculum and Instruction. She has completed post doctoral work in literacy from the University of Toledo. She regularly teaches EDEC 262, 323, EDCI 306, 312, 560, 561, 411, 663.
