Middle Childhood Generalist (Grades 4-6)

Are you already teaching middle grades students, but would like to have the flexibilty to teach in all subject areas? Designed for teachers already possessing middle grades (4-9) licensure, the Middle Grades Endorsement enables them to teach all four core academic areas in a self-contained setting in fourth through sixth grade. Students would choose the two subject areas in which they are not currently licensed.

Is this program for you?

  • You completed a middle grades degree or Bachelor's Plus program through Ashland University.

  • You want to teach all four core academic areas in a self-contained classroom in fourth through sixth grade.
