What's extraordinary to me?

Days that begin uneventful may lead into an unbelievable, indescribable series of heart-stopping experiences. Ordinary days, in fact, can become extraordinary. These days become so different, so pivotal that they change the entire course of your life. Nursing has brought many extraordinary days into my life and I look forward to embracing this each day; beginning right now...

"Accent on the Individual" means discovering a student for who they are, where they come from, how they interact and what they know; actively listening to their thoughts, comments and concerns;  showing respect and patience;  discovering and highlighting strengths, while developing the weaknesses through a plan for progress; creating a love for knowledge to promote lifelong learning. Why? We want to support the student to become a positive change in our world; affect our future generation of nurses to provide safe, competent, creative, caring and compassionate interventions to our patients and families.
