Transfer Credit Online RN to BSN Courses

Unlimited credits may transfer to AU. Residency requirements to complete 120 credit hours for the Bachelor’s degree from AU include:

  • At least 50 semester hours of credit earned at a four-year accredited, degree-granting college or university;
  • At least 30 semester hours of credit at AU;
  • Last 12 semester hours earned before graduation at AU; and
  • 2 required Ashland University nursing courses may transfer from a nationally accredited program.

*The 8 most common courses typically transferred in by students. All core requirements may be transferred if applicable.

Nursing Elective Concentration

Courses taken if needed only to complete 120 degree requirement hours or complete part of School Nurse Licensure track. Most students will not require these.

  • Design Your Own Focus track (most common)
  • School Nurse Licensure Prep track (9 credit hours, graduate level by petition)
