Alpha Gamma Omega Nu

Purpose

The Alpha Gamma Omega Nu society is professional as well as honorary. One purpose of Alpha Gamma Omega Nu is to encourage high professional, intellectual, and personal standards, not only in its members, but also in all who come under its influence. Another purpose is to recognize outstanding contributions to the allied health field, education, and to encourage personal and professional growth. Alpha Gamma Omega Nu seeks to maintain high educational standards and ideals, inspiration of scholarship and achievement in the area of health sciences. 

Membership Eligibility

  • Junior or Senior
  • Member of a state, regional or national organization that corresponds to the student's respective major (i.e. SCSM, NSCA, NATA, ADA)
  • Cumulative Grade Point of 3.0 or greater
  • Leadership qualities
  • Cooperative spirit
  • Strives for high professional standards
  • Honesty and integrity
