Course Description:

Facilitating Student Learning is designed to offer educators within any educational setting an alternative instructional approach to servicing at-risk students. The central framework to this alternative instructional approach is The Relationship to Learning Continuum, which provides educators a unique understanding of the at-risk student’s relationship to learning.  This informed perspective permits curricular and content decisions that facilitate the at-risk student’s reclamation as a learner.  It is this reclamation that is the cornerstone to healthy, positive, and productive development, as well as academic achievement.  Facilitating Student Learning offers educators proven successful instructional strategies and activities designed for learners within any educational facility.
