PROJECT BASED TEACHING BOOK STUDY
Course Description:
Whether you are new to project based learning (PBL) or a seasoned PBL practitioner that has experienced a PBL 101 Design workshop and has been using it in your classroom, Project Based Teaching, the newest book from PBLWorks by Suzie Boss and John Larmer, provides a deep dive into the seven Gold Standard Teaching Practices that support a student-centered, project based learning environment. The book is a page turner as it is full of practical tips from practicing PBL teachers that are easy to begin implementing immediately. The 15-hour online book study is self-paced, and it also features accompanying videos that show some of the featured PBL teachers-in-action as they model the teaching practice with students in their classroom.
