ASSESSMENT 201 IN THE PBL CLASSROOM: CREATING STUDENT CENTERED ASSESSMENTS
Course Description:
Designed for participants that have taken Assessment 101 in the PBL Classroom, this advanced asynchronous online workshop will focus on creating student-centered assessments. Participants will explore the use of high-quality critique, self-assessment, and reflection as assessment tools during project-based learning. Participants will explore examples of each of these assessments and learn best practices for using these successfully to engage students in rich learning. Participants will use voice and choice to develop a final product that is specific to the PBL unit they began developing in Part 1 of this course that will help them implement student-centered assessments throughout their PBL unit.
