Course Description:

This three-part training series will allow district leadership teams to engage in learning around unconscious bias and the need to produce more equitable learning conditions for students. School leaders will learn to (1) recognize the impact of bias on behaviors, decisions, and performance, (2) increase empathy and curiosity in personal interactions to surface and explore bias, and (3) explore ways to face bias with courage and create the space where everyone is respected, included and valued whether learning in the physical classroom or remotely. Sessions will be ongoing to promote district level conversations and learning around key topics and culminate in the creation of a district plan to address identified district level issues.
