Course Description:

This course will serve as a study of how to use an online classroom to engage and promote student learning on either a part-time or full-time basis. All aspects of the flipped classroom will be addressed for grades K-12 including but not limited to: motivation, tone, effective means of communication, the four pillars of the flipped classroom (FLIP), multiple resources to use for all grade levels online to help enhance learning, multiple learning management systems (LMS) will be covered like Google Classroom, Schoology, Moodle, and Blackboard, how to set up an online classroom, teaching at-risk students online, working with parents online, and finally, summing it all up and addressing any other questions that come up along the way.
