OVERCOMING BURNOUT

Course Description:

Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, educators in Ohio, across the country, and throughout the world have had one of the most difficult and draining years in the history  f the profession. The number of Educators choosing to leave the profession are at an all time high. This course is designed to help those who are experiencing burnout recover through research based strategies and habits.
Actions: This online course will expose educators to articles and videos focused on research about avoiding and overcoming burnout. Each unit explores a different strategy. Participants are expected to keep an ongoing reflection journal throughout the course as they learn and implement each strategy. At the end of the course they will complete a final journal entry in which they reflect on all of the strategies and determine a plan for moving forward.
