TEACH URBAN SCHOLAR

This course will equip pre-service and 1st-3rd year educators with strategies and methods to successfully teach in the urban setting.  Many new educators who enter the education profession are not fully equipped to manage urban students because of a lack of preparedness for the type of environment.  This course will provide applicable scenarios and strategies that will support educators in their first few years of teaching using a culturally structured and sonsistent approach in planning and developing effective instruction.
