CLASRM IN THE CLOUD SELF DIR

This course covers Olentangy’s cloud-based tools and methods for using them with students. We will begin with a look at the new myOLSD portal and discover why staff and students will benefit from using it to access applications. Once in myOLSD we will tackle Schoology and Google Drive. Using Google Drive, we will explore saving, sharing and collaborating. We will also look at the applications in Google Drive that staff and students can use including: Documents, Spreadsheets &
Presentations.

Learn the basics of Olentangy’s learning management system, Schoology, including: navigating the system, managing your profile and settings. We will create groups, courses, and experiment with how to use the dropbox for student assignments. We will discuss how to use Schoology as a means of communicating with students in a secure environment. Use these tools together in the cloud to move your classroom to the next level.
