Course Description:

Virtual Field Trips is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to explore the myriad of resources the Internet has to offer educators to enrich their instruction. Participants will learn how to evaluate websites for virtual field trips, use search engines and tools, and explore web resources that can be utilized in instruction. The class is designed and taught by a former teacher for teachers, paced appropriately with realistic expectations and goals. The final project is a Virtual Field Trip for use with each participant’s students. All assignments are purposeful, supporting development of the classroom-ready Virtual Field Trip. All Virtual Field Trips will be shared so that participants gain from the creativity and efforts of their peers. Participants of all skill levels are encouraged to enroll, as the class is self-paced and those with more experience will not be “held back” by those who may need assistance.

This is an open class with ongoing registration. It is a 5 week self-paced class with easy access to the instructor via email who is more than happy to answer any questions. As soon as you register, Dr. Lambert will get you started!
