Course Description:

The Ashbrook Center at Ashland University offers a series of webinars to explore "50 Core Documents that Tell America's Story".  During these nine webinars - scheduled once monthly during the 2013-14 school - faculty affiliated with the Ashbrook Center at Ashland University will explore various themes from the American experience, as reflected in these 50 Core Documents.  These webinars are geared toward social studies teachers.  They are designed to provide a broad narrative of American history, and to offer detailed content knowledge of the original source documents.  Teachers who participate in six or more of these webinars and submit a lesson plan are eligible for graduate credit.
