You will have at least 60% of hands on practice to search for apps, create movies and learn about specific tools available on the IPad/IPhone/SmartPhone that will meet specific goals and objectives within your classroom instruction or assist students in learning specific content. This hands on course will focus on participants finding & using Apps and downloading, recording, editing & formatting their movies for IPads, IPhones, Kindles and other SmartPhone devices. Throughout the class we will demonstrate how to use their IPad / IPhone, IOS 7, Tablets or other SmartPhone Devices. We will also focus on Web Resources that Participants could use on all mobile devices within their classroom. We will use IMovie (Mac) & Windows Live MovieMaker to edit their videos. Participants that would like to learn on the Macs, will need to bring their own MAC laptop. We will format & convert the videos to be downloaded on SmartPhones, as a Podcast and/or Online. Within the course, we will train participants on the necessary tools how to record & download their own lesson video. The instructor of this class is a Certified SmartBoard Trainer, Masters Degree in Educational Technology and Instructional Technology Coordinator for a local School District.
