Course Description:

The state standards indicate that all students will "establish a purpose for reading and use a wide range of reading comprehension strategies."  This class will provide teachers with knowledge on how to provide literature extension activities.  Specific techniques will be shared to encourage children to interact with popular literature and to develop the skills of recall, sequencing, and vocabulary.   Questions may be directed to instructor Kay Trout at 937-925-5196.
