TEACHING EMOTIONAL REGULATION SKILLS TO CHILDREN
Schools face a growing student population who have little to no emotion regulation skills. This ofen leads to negative behaviors and academic underachievement. In this workshop, you will learn powerful strategies you can use right away that will help children manage emotions through thinking. CBT is an easy to learn model of emotion regulation which draws on the unprecedented research and practices of Dr. Albert Ellis and David Burns. You will leave this workshop with a plan on how to teach children to manage strong emotions so they can greatly increase academic and personal success.
