COMMON CORE AND BTR READERS
This course will focus on how to use background knowledge development to assist readers of all levels with focus on the AT-RISK READER. Participants will learn aspects of the new Common Core standards in the reading component and strategies for lessons in the reading area. Participants will focus on what background knowledge strategies can be applied to assist AT-Risk Readers who are struggling when entering particular grade levels and options for those who have not reached those background knowledge expectations.
