Course Description:

The main objective of this 2 day seminar is to: 

  • Experience literature connections in the math content to motivate/encourage students. 
 Participants will select games appropriate to grade levels that  address math core curriculum.  Types of tutoring to foster math content development will be examined. Working in groups to experience effectiveness of strategies and techniques presented.  Conversing, sharing, and evaluating effectiveness of books, activities, and experience to enhance math achievement.
