MASTERING CORE SKILLS 1

Topic: Curriculum and Instruction
Instructor: Craig Lautenschleger
Method: Online (OWRK)
Sponsor: AU Columbus Center
Center Offered: CPD

Course Description:

Our core skill online classes are designed to have the student read a scholarly article, reflect on it in writing, and then create an action plan to implement in his or her classroom.  The action plan is submitted to EnvisionEdPlus, receives feedback from us, and then is implemented by the educator.  The educator then submits artifacts of the action plan to EnvisionEdPlus, and then those artifacts are shared with other students enrolled in the course.  The educator receives additional feedback base on the action plan.  The educator submits a final reflection on implications the action plan will have on future teaching.   Any combination of three of our core skill classes equals one semester hour of graduate level coursework.
