Course Description:

This course is designed to provide teaching tools to educators who are interested in exploring the links between cognitive research and humor.  Humor is a natural resource that can play a crucial role in creating a healthy learning environment.  Emotions are at the very core of the human learning experience and this class will link humor to an optimal learning environment.  You will have the opportunity to explore your own sense of humor, which in turn will enhance YOUR experience in this class!  Participants will engage in activities based on “humergy,” a concept derived from an optimistic attitude and a sense of humor. This is a 6-week online class and  can be entered at any time prior to Aug. 11, 2018.  Please contact Nina Mengali at for more information or questions.
